The project Rural Rise: Boosting Youth Employment in Countrysides B.E.YOU

  • The project Rural Rise: Boosting Youth Employment in Countryside (B.E.YOU) will be implemented by ValueMe (BG) in partnership with GENTIS Foundation (ES) with the support of 5 associated partners (BG: Municipality of Gotze Delchev, Employment Agency Blagoevgrad, and ES: Municipality of Amposta and of La Senia, Cooperativa Terram SCCL Employment Agency)
  • Overall project aim Strengthening the employability of young people from geographically remote areas by enhancing their soft skills, digital and entrepreneurship competences and facilitating their access to the national, European, and global labour markets.
  • Expected results 1 Non-formal training programme for advancing capacities and skills of youth from remote geographical areas and enhancing their employability (methodology, training materials, face-to-face and online training) 2 Exchange of knowledge between stakeholders from Bulgaria and Spain – training of 24 trainers (x12 from BG/ES) 3 Piloting of 2 local Youth Development and Employment Network hubs (Y-DEN) 4 Dissemination of developed model through website and 2 final dissemination events.

Valueme

Valueme is an educational training center. Through the provision of digital educational products and services, Valueme looks for further cooperation to contribute to sustainable learning outcomes for individuals and institutions. It offers online and in-person training in digital skills to promote educational solutions for adult learners, teachers and individuals in need. Valueme’s main training routes and activities: Training in basic and advanced digital skills for the adult learners land school sectors; Advocating robust communication and collaboration in domains such as cybersecurity education, life-long learning, global security awareness, and sustainable development. Presenting tangible tools and initiatives to guide IT and cybersecurity professionals in strengthening their digital security preparedness and execution. Designing a tailored cybersecurity curriculum to elevate digital safety in educational institutions, making it easier for remote and distance learning.

GENTIS

GENTIS Foundation is a non-profit organization working to improve employability and the most disadvantaged groups’ skills, emotional and social development. Gentis aims at achieving full social inclusion through community action, training, mentoring, mediation, family support and psychological and therapeutic intervention. Key lines of work are as follows: Job orientation services -programmes aimed at improving employability Services for companies -labour intermediation, practices, selection and support in the retention of talent Tailor-made training -Gents Foundation focuses on analysing training needs and developing tailor-made training that is personalised and adapted to the customer’s needs. Entrepreneurship and Social Economy Services -programmes aimed at people interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial project or to be involved in companies or projects of social economy.
